Inspired by the mantra "do what you love for a living", SCE Translations was born from my love of the Italian language and culture. I have turned this passion into a career, committed to bringing my personal ethos of quality, integrity, and flexibility into all of my work.

I have been involved in the translation industry since 2010, starting with a specialization in the life sciences industry and later expanding my expertise into other verticals that draw upon my interests, study, and professional background. Growing up in an Italian-speaking household granted me a unique gift of being "hard-wired" for language learning, which I capitalized on by studying as many languages as were offered during my early schooling. I received a degree in Italian Language and Literature from Fordham University, including study in Rome where I had the honor of working as an intern and translator for the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute.

Following a fruitful academic career, I worked as an editor and project manager for two leading Language Service Providers and learned all aspects of the translation industry. These experiences not only provided me with a strong foundation, but a unique perspective and keen understanding of what it takes to be a successful translator and produce a quality translation.
